In addition to his role overseas, Sensei became a member of several organizations including the; Egyptian Karate Association (EKA), the Japanese Karate Association (JKA), and the International Olympic Committee (IOC). Sensei Nasr trained often with Sensei Nishayama, a very famous figure in the Karate world, in both Egypt and the states.Upon arrival to the states, Captain Nasr founded his club in 1985 under JKA coaching and ruling. Here, he received his Sandan (3rd degree black belt) under Sensei Nishayama's coaching. Years later the club transformed into a different organization along with the East Coast, which is now known as the International Shotokan Karate Federation (ISKF). It was this organization that Captain Nasr received his Yondan (4th degree black belt) under Sensei Okazaki, the chief in command of the ISKF on the Eastern Coast of the United States. Until this very day, Captain Nasr is certified by all of the organizations listed above, now including the ISKF, and obtains over 35 years of Karate experience under his belt. And until this day, he continuously coaches and trains in the Martial Art of Shotokan Karate.
